Donald Trump Interview speaking on the Lex Fridman Podcast
Donald Trump has vowed to release ‘new UFO footage’ and files on Jeffrey Epstein if elected – and denied ever going to his island.
The 78-year-old, who sat down with American podcaster Lex Fridman on Tuesday, claimed he would push the Pentagon to make alleged videos of possible alien encounters visible to the public.
Trump, who is struggling against Kamala Harris in the polls and making increasingly bizarre God claims, briefly touched on the US’s decades-long fascination with unidentified flying objects.

Fridman asked: “A lot of people are very interested in the footage of UFOs. The Pentagon has released a few videos and there’s been anecdotal reports from fighter pilots. So a lot of people wanna know, will you help push the Pentagon to release more footage, which a lot of people claim is available.”
Agreeing to release more footage, Trump replied: “Oh yeah, sure, I’ll do that. I would do that. I’d love to do that. I have to do that.”
Fidman asked Trump about UFOs and Epstein
Trump claimed that he had faced more pressure to release files pertaining to the death of ex-president John F Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963.
“People begged me not to do it but I’ll be doing that very early on,” he added.
The former president was then grilled on disgraced sex offender Epstein, who died in his jail cell in 2019 after being arrested on federal charges for sex trafficking of minors.
Rumors of Epstein’s ‘client list’ have circulated for years but such a document has never been released – and Trump explained why he felt so many powerful people were in his circle.
“He was a good salesman. He was a hailing, hearty type of guy,” Trump said. “He had some nice assets that he’d throw around like islands, but a lot of big people went to that island. But fortunately, I was not one of them.”

Trump said it was “very interesting” that the list of Epstein’s associates has been kept under wraps, but claimed he would revisit the case if elected in November.
“I’d certainly take a look at it,” said Trump, before moving on to Kennedy again.
He added: “Now, Kennedy’s interesting because it’’ so many years ago. They do that for danger too, because it endangers certain people…so Kennedy is very different from the Epstein thing.
“But I’d be inclined to do the Epstein. I’d have no problem with it.”
