A leaked Home Office document has labelled anyone concerned with mass immigration to the UK as being “right-wing extremists”.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer has previously promised to crack down on groups of ”’right-wing thugs” who’ve ignited mass protests seen around the UK earlier this year. He gave police forces the Government’s “full support” to take swift action on these people, labelling them as “extremists” who are attempting to “sow hate”.
But now a new report from the Home Office has taken this one step further and has labelled anyone concerned about mass immigration, including grooming gangs, as “right-wing extremism”. The report, which was written by civil servants in the Home Office and was leaked to GB News, lays bare the stark overview on extremisms in Britain, with Labour recently retracting this shocking document.
According to the paper, those who have the belief that “Western culture is under threat from migration” are labelled as having an “extremist” view.

It further states that grooming gangs are used as a “grievance narrative” which are used by “right-wing extremists”.
GB News has forced Labour to disavow this Home Office report following the news site’s expose, with a Government source telling the broadcaster that this concerning report “was not approved by Home Office Ministers”.
Former Home Secretary Suella Braverman spoke to GB News and said: “This humiliating climbdown shows how out of touch Labour are on immigration.
“Millions of British people worry about what is happening to their country under Labour. They don’t want to see the fabric of their society changed by mass migration.
“To paint them as racists, and ‘conspiracy theorists’ is reprehensible.”
RICU was founded in 2007 and is based in the Home Office with its main objective being to tackle extremism and terrorism and previously used the terminology to describe Extreme Right-Wing Terrorism (ERWT) as being “complex”.
Its terminology to describe those who are extreme right wing as “individuals within the Far Right who maintain active opposition to democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and respect for and tolerance of different faiths/beliefs and subject to change, as the understanding of the threat and indeed the threat itself has evolved”.
RICU sent its “right-wing extremists” memo to ministers in October with one Labour source calling the document “completely wrong.

“In particular, child sexual abuse and grooming are immensely serious crimes, which devastate the lives of victims, and should always be discussed in the most serious terms and treated in the most serious way, which is why we are planning to strengthen the law to go after more of those who carry out this appalling abuse.
“For many years academics and analysts on radicalisation have used phrases like ‘grievance narratives’ – the use of that phrase in this context was clearly wrong, and ministers have instructed officials to ensure there is no repetition of it in future Government documents.”
Braverman added that Labour’s retraction of this report as being “embarrassing” and “brings to light Labour’s duplicity on immigration.”
She added: “It’s clear that Labour are the party of open borders and will continue to waste money on their hollow words and inaction on immigration.”
