Horror in Nottingham as boy, eight, dies after falling from window! B

The boy was rushed to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham but tragically could not be saved, police have confirmed.

An eight-year-old boy has tragically died after falling from a window of a home in Nottingham on Wednesday evening.

Nottinghamshire Police confirmed officers raced to Costock Avenue in Sherwood after being called by East Midlands Ambulance Service at around 7.15pm on September 18.

The youngster was rushed to Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham but could not be saved. Officers are at the address investigating the circumstances of the incident, the force confirmed.

Chief Inspector Jon Scurr said: “This is a tragic and devastating loss of life and our thoughts are with the boy’s family and loved ones.

“I would like to thank those that have already reported information to us, and would urge anyone who hasn’t yet done so, to please make contact as soon as possible. We are acutely aware that incidents of this nature are incredibly distressing for all concerned, and are felt by the entire community.
