Pro-Palestine mob plot to ‘swarm’ five UK cities in ‘coordinated’ Armistice Day protests.l

EXCLUSIVE: An undercover Express investigation can reveal a Just Stop Oil offshoot is planning “highly organised disruption on a nationwide level” during Britain’s day of remembrance.

Pro-Palestine activists are plotting to throw Armistice Day events into chaos across the UK with a series of “highly coordinated” protests next week.

Five UK cities are being targeted by Youth Demand, an undercover investigation by Express.co.uk can reveal.

In a secret meeting on Saturday, November 2, the activist group joined Just Stop Oil at a members-only central London bar for an exclusive event.

The event in West Dock, called the ‘Politics is Broken: People’s Assembly & After Party’, saw upwards of 50 activists gather to listen to speeches and discuss policy while vegan food and alcohol were served.

Youth Demand activist Arthur Clifton, told the crowd how the group was planning to wreak havoc from Monday, November 11 – a time when thousands across Britain will honour those who gave their lives for our country.

This is the start of our strategy coming into place on November 11. With five cities across the country, Youth Demand will be getting out onto the roads, swarming, causing disruption, [and] getting off before arrests are made, hopefully.”

23-year-old Clifton, who attended the prestigious £8,600-a-term Latymer Upper School, added that the protests would mean “highly coordinated, highly organised disruption on a nationwide level”.

He also hinted at further chaos around Black Friday, a major discount day for British retailers and consumers, held on the last Friday in November.

Held this year on November 29, Clifton, who is believed to be from London, said the group had “exciting plans”, adding: “That’s all I’m saying.”

A call to action on Youth Demand’s Telegram channel posted on November 5 told activists that “in just over a week, our nationally coordinated actions will be popping off all over the country.”

And in an apparent threat to Remembrance ceremonies in the five cities being targeted, the rallying cry finishes: “We know we have to shut it down for Palestine.”

During his speech, Clifton refused to unveil which cities were under threat, nor was it revealed in the post on Telegram.

Earlier in the night, Just Stop Oil activist Sam Griffiths told the crowd his band of eco-zealots would be “relentless” in targeting Parliament in 2025.

The 49-year-old who served time in Wandsworth Prison in 2023 for taking part in a demonstration, said: “We are not giving up”, he told the audience. “The context has changed. Yes, we’re facing crazy repression, but do we still have the will, the energy and the direction to fight? Yes, the answer is yes.

“That we can still take action is a profound privilege and one we must continue to use.

“The Labour government has stated £2.5bn for carbon capture – a stupid gamble on untested technology, when we know we’re far better off if we bite the bullet and actually focus on cutting emissions. That is why we’re doubling down on Just Stop Oil by 2030.

“And where are we going to focus our effort? It’s going to be in parliament in the New Year. We’re going to take action again, and again, and again. We’re going to be relentless, determined and steadfast.”

The meeting was set up by Umbrella, the overarching organisation which comprises Just Stop Oil, Youth Demand, and other direct action groups, and ran from 4.30pm to 10pm in Dockside Vaults, an underground bar in the shadow of the Tower of London.

Just Stop Oil’s Sam Griffiths also spoke at the meeting

contacted the bar to ask what the typical cost of booking an event on a Saturday night during these hours would typically be.

The fee quoted was £10,000 for a whole day, however it was explained that for a small group at short notice, the venue could be booked for £1,500. That would include access to a bar, staff and security.

The event was manned by security, and those in attendance were given two soft drinks vouchers, access to free home-cooked vegan food made by activists and the venue’s bar.

Dockside Vaults did not wish to comment when approached.

Royal British Legion told Express.co.uk they hope Remembrance events across the country go ahead “without disruption”.

A spokesperson said: “Remembrance is a time for the nation to come together to remember those who have served in the British Armed Forces protecting the democratic freedoms we all benefit from today.

“Whilst we respect the right of people to protest within the law, we believe the Two-Minute Silence on Armistice Day is a time for remembrance, and we hope Remembrance events can go ahead without disruption.”

Meanwhile the Metropolitan Police branded any attempts to disrupt Armistice Day events as “entirely unacceptable” and promised “robust action”.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Matt Ward said: “Any attempt to disrupt the solemnity and importance of Armistice Day events is entirely unacceptable.

“The public would expect us to take robust action against anyone who does so and we will. We have policing plans in place across London to protect those attending public events, and you will see us intervene swiftly to deal with individuals breaking the law.”
