Keir Starmer referred to Rishi Sunak as ‘Prime Minister’ again today as they clashed in the Commons.

Answering a question from his own MP for Thurrock Jen Craft, Sir Keir tore into the previous government’s record on local funding.

Then he jibed at Mr Sunak about the global investment summit held in London on Monday.
‘I’m surprised the Prime Minister didn’t welcome the £63billion of investment we were able to announce on Monday,’ Sir Keir said.
He did not seem to notice his own mistake and continued with the session.
At a previous PMQs last month a rattled Sir Keir was jeered as he repeatedly referred to Mr Sunak as ‘the Prime Minister’.
Asked afterwards why Sir Keir had called Mr Sunak ‘PM’ five times, a No10 spokesman said ‘old habits die hard’.
